Case Study 1 - Testing Of Core Banking Applications {FIS}
Saraswat Bank is one of the leading co-operative banking institutions based in Maharashtra, India and operating as a co-operative society since 14 September 1918.
About
Functional testing of the Core Banking Finacle in SIT , UAT , Automation and Performance testing . It’s related to in depth test of enhancement, change requests, production issues as per Bank’s internal day to day activities.
Project Scope
Challenges
• Bank requirements were not fully captured in requirement document.
• Ensuring regression (impact testing) due to continuous change requests and enhancements to the application
• Business user availability and their sign-off for acceptance
• Limited time period to complete end to end flow at the end of the round as bug fixes release happen at the last stage
Product Scope
• Strategy to test the application by giving due coverage for business-critical functions and financial transactions.
• Quality Kiosk methodology provides a framework for reporting on productivity, resource utilization, quality metrics and timesheets
• We created a regression testing pack to ensure that every time system is tested for change impact with a quick turnaround time.
